Privacy Policy

We collect as little as possible: the contact form, and nothing else. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking.

Last updated 11 August 2026

1. Who we are

Luminal Agency (“we”, “us”) builds websites and automation systems. Based in British Columbia, Canada. For anything in this policy, reach us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

Only what you send us. When you submit the contact form we receive:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The service you selected
  • The message you wrote

Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs that may include your IP address and browser user-agent. That is standard infrastructure logging used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse; we do not analyse it or link it to you.

3. What we do not collect

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. We do not fingerprint your device, build a profile on you, or load fonts, images, or scripts from third-party servers — everything the site needs is served from our own domain, so browsing it does not reveal you to anyone else.

Because we set no cookies and do not track you, there is no consent banner to click.

4. Why we collect it, and your consent

We use your submission for one purpose: to reply to you and, if it goes further, to scope and deliver the work you asked about. Submitting the form is your consent for that. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing you did not ask for.

5. Who else sees it

Contact-form submissions are delivered to our email inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). Our website is served by our hosting provider. Both process data on our behalf in order to provide those services.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless we are legally required to.

These providers may store data outside Canada, which means it can be subject to the laws of the country it is stored in.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our inbox while the conversation is live and for up to two years afterwards, so we have context if you come back. If work goes ahead, project correspondence is kept for as long as we need it for tax and record-keeping obligations. Ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your enquiry and our correspondence
  • Withdraw your consent, which we will treat as a deletion request

Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you can escalate to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to our inbox is protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive credentials through the contact form.

9. Children

Our services are sold to businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and move the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle data we already hold will be communicated directly to the people affected.
